Mandy Lion's WWIII; An artist with a band band that defines heavy in a BIG way with monstrous grooves, catchy riff-laden songs, and a unique sonic signature completely unto itself. Singer, mastermind, and front man Mandy Lion has led this electrifying band through the years with his incredible voice and larger-than-life persona. With an original lineup that boasted Joe Floyd (Warrior) on guitar, Jimmy Bain (Rainbow, Dio) on bass, and Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio) on drums, Mandy achieved an intense sound early on, setting WWIII vastly apart from other groups of the Heavy Metal genre in the process. But his success did not end there. Mandy has fronted countless other lineups as well with such legendary musicians as George Lynch (Dokken, Lynchmob), Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, WWIII), James Kottack (Kingdome Come, Scorpions, WWIII), Mikkey Dee (King Diamond, Dokken, Motorhead, WWIII), and the list goes on...
Best of all, the newest incarnation of WWIII is better than ever! Moni "The Evil Priest" on guitar, Jon Purpura on bass, and Pete Holmes on drums join Mandy in a killer lineup that rocks and roars like never before! The current songs are great too. Searing and unorthodox, the guitar-slinging of Moni, the "Evil Priest, is both exhilarative and stimulating in its own reich. Moni's guitar solos contain melodic flavors from around the world. Sometimes he is subtle and reserved, but without warning he unleashes a flurry of licks and six-string pyrotechnics, executing a unique modal style that soars into a realm of guitar wizardry no one has gone before.
Attacking with a desvastating low frequency rich in thundering undertones is baddass bass player Jon Purpura. Utilizing just the right amount of sonic girth, Jon gorges the melodic gap between the guitar and drums with a insidious sound and take no prisoners style all his own. This man is a true monster! Filling the legendary Jimmy Bain's shoes is quite the undertaking to say the very least, but Jon is a resounding force to be reckoned with who succeeds at this incredible feat where others have failed.
There are good drummers, great drummers, and then there are "super drummers." Pete Holmes is definitely one to join the ranks of this exclusive third category. His resume speaks for itself... Pete has recorded and toured with such greats as Ian Gillan, the Michael Schenker Group, Ted Nugent and many others. His power, drive and talent are second to NONE! In fact, the only drummers comparable to this hard-hitting freight train are authorities Cozy Powell, John Bonham and Ian Pace. Pete is the latest awesome addition to the Mandy Lion camp and we are honored to have him aboard.

The most dynamic and engaging front man music has ever known, Mandy dominates any concert venue with his uniquely textured voice and ultra-powerful stage presence. Mandy Lion is the originator of the extreme power vocal and though just about everyone who is anyone these days is trying to duplicate what Mandy created, none have succeeded. Imagine Rob Zombie's intense growl combined with Ronnie James Dio's explosive talent and Rob Halford's infinite range... all in one. Mandy's inhuman power and growl technique teamed with an unmistakable mystifying delivery makes it impossible for anyone to recreate his unearthly style.
